This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Kim Silverthorn is the owner and primary therapist with Tacit Knowledge. She has more than 30 years of experience, and has worked in a wide range of specialty areas throughout her career. Her current areas of expertise include clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self harm, eating disorders, and stress. And she also provides specialized support to First Responders, to victims of suicide and homicide and to abused youth and their families.

Kim's practice (Tacit Knowledge) offers counselling services from 4 very experienced and qualified therapists, and has offices in Beaumont, Red Deer, Sherwood Park and Edmonton. The Tacit team offers individual (youth and adult) and couples counselling; therapeutic Support Groups (multiple times a year); community Psycho-Educational Workshops; and Professional Development Training opportunities (based on skill development and/or team wellness needs). Tacit offers all of their services online and in-person (as COVID restrictions allow).
